Resources intro sentence
Grounded in a rare and intentional intersection of law, psychology, and human behavior, my work brings a level of depth, precision, and real-world applicability that extends far beyond traditional approaches to conflict. I do not view conflict as purely legal, nor purely emotional. It exists in the space where cognition, behavior, experience, and systems overlap. That is where my work lives.
Ph.D. (in progress), Conflict Analysis & Resolution, Nova Southeastern University
What I offer is not abstract theory or surface-level guidance. It is insight drawn from advanced, cross-disciplinary training and shaped by years of practical application across high-stakes, emotionally charged environments. I translate complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies that can be used immediately, whether you are navigating professional disputes, managing client relationships, engaging in negotiation, or working through deeply personal conflict. The goal is not just understanding, but execution.
In many traditional settings, accessing this level of knowledge requires years of formal education, significant financial investment, and immersion in highly specialized environments. My work bridges that gap. It delivers the substance of that training in a way that is accessible, efficient, and directly relevant to the realities you are facing right now. You gain the benefit of advanced expertise without the barriers that typically come with it.
Education & Training
My approach is informed by a foundation that is both academically rigorous and practically grounded. Each area of study contributes a distinct lens, and together they form a comprehensive framework for understanding and navigating conflict.
B.A. in Psychology
This foundation provides a deep understanding of human behavior, cognitive processes, emotional regulation, and interpersonal dynamics. It informs how individuals perceive conflict, respond under stress, and interact within relationships. It is the starting point for recognizing patterns, both in others and within ourselves.
Master of Social Work (MSW)
This training expands the lens to include systems, environment, and lived experience. It emphasizes trauma-informed practice, resilience, and the impact of external factors on behavior and decision-making. It also reinforces the importance of empathy, boundaries, and ethical engagement when working with individuals in vulnerable or high-stress situations.
Juris Doctor (J.D.), Syracuse University College of Law
This adds the structural and strategic framework of the legal system. It brings an understanding of rights, procedures, advocacy, and the realities of litigation and dispute resolution. It also provides insight into how conflict is formally processed, argued, and resolved within institutional systems.
Ph.D. (in progress), Conflict Analysis & Resolution, Nova Southeastern University
This advanced work integrates and deepens all prior disciplines. It focuses on the underlying drivers of conflict, including power dynamics, communication breakdowns, cultural influences, and systemic factors. It also emphasizes research-based strategies for resolution, transformation, and sustainable outcomes.
What makes this combination unique is not just the individual degrees, but how they are integrated. Law alone does not explain why people behave the way they do in conflict. Psychology alone does not account for the structural constraints and pressures of legal systems. Conflict analysis alone does not fully capture the lived realities of individuals navigating those systems. Together, however, they create a comprehensive and highly functional understanding of conflict as it actually exists.
Application and Value
The true value of this work lies in its application. These programs and trainings distill complex, interdisciplinary knowledge into practical tools that can be immediately implemented across a range of contexts.
In your professional life, this means improved communication, stronger client relationships, more effective negotiation strategies, and the ability to manage high-conflict situations without becoming overwhelmed or reactive. It means understanding not just what is being said, but what is driving the behavior behind it. It allows you to respond with clarity and strategy rather than frustration or escalation.
In your personal life, it means navigating relationships with greater awareness, setting boundaries without unnecessary conflict, and recognizing patterns that may have previously gone unnoticed. It provides a framework for engaging with others in a way that is both intentional and effective, even in difficult or emotionally charged situations.
Perhaps most importantly, it supports sustainability. Many professionals, particularly in legal and helping fields, experience burnout not because of the volume of work, but because of the emotional weight carried within it. By developing a deeper understanding of both your own responses and the behavior of others, you are better equipped to engage fully in your work without absorbing unnecessary stress or losing your sense of control.
This is not about replacing formal education or professional training. It is about making the most valuable aspects of that education accessible, usable, and directly relevant to your day-to-day interactions. It is about bridging the gap between knowledge and practice.
You do not need years of coursework, extensive research, or multiple degrees to begin applying these principles. You need the right framework, the right tools, and the ability to see conflict for what it truly is: a human experience shaped by behavior, perception, and interaction.
That is what this work provides.
